The great slow time machine
Circles the same country,
Desolation Court,
Honeymoon Lost Lane,
End of the Line Boulevard,
Past
Broken Hearts'
Hall of Fame.
Next door to the
Heartbreak Hotel
On the cul de sac
In an older development.
I want to fly,
Straight up,
Eliminate negotiations
With the timekeeper,
Demand
One wild
Ballistic blast
Into joy

Honeymoon Lost Boulevard, End of the Line Lane,
(near Lonely Street at Heartbreak Hotel)
Last time I overreacted to your poem, so this time I will simply ask if you have tried out the reading thing in a less spectacular venue. I assume you haven't done it yet. Go where you can be in-communicado. Less pressure.
I must be losing it. I just saw the name of a new commenter and realized I had used the wrong word. I meant incognito.
i love the second stanza to this.
this does seem to go round and round...
